Hearts for the Hungry

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink; I was a stranger and you took me in." (Matthew 25:35)

The primary purpose of Hearts for the Hungry is living out the above words of Jesus: to provide a meal, something to drink, and a chance to move from being a stranger to being a part of the family.

Each Sunday night in the Fellowship Hall at Central Baptist Church anyone in need of a meal in the Marshall area can come and be fed.  This is provided at no cost and no strings attached,  just come and be fed.

Leadership

Hearts for the Hungry began as a ministry of the Soda Lake Baptist Association. Through the years many churches and individuals have valued this outreach program and have provided planning and leadership. Central Baptist Church provides a spot to host the meal each week as well as the foundational leadership for H4H, but we depend on other churches and community organizations to provide the meal. Central Baptist provides the space, table service, and drinks. Please consider signing up to provide a meal soon.
