One of the defining characteristics of Central Baptist Church is that we believe God hears and responds when we pray in faith! The Intercessory Prayer Ministry is the engine room for every ministry of the church as we bathe activities in prayer.
A 24-hour prayer room is available in the church annex which houses Central’s administrative offices. Our prayer line is 903-935-PRAY.
We consider it a privilege and blessing to serve God in this way. We have received hundreds of notes from people whose lives have been touched by prayer and we have offered prayers and mailed prayergrams to thousands of people around the world.
Many more volunteers are needed to meet the goal of answering Central’s prayer line 24 hours per day, seven days a week. Many hours are available for you to choose from, and training is provided.
We encourage all our members to consider joining us in this vital ministry. To volunteer, call the church office at 903-935-9391.
